A few words from me:
I will be forever grateful to Allan for changing the way I look at sewing and tailoring. My mind was blown every session we had, seeing all the details and how much skill goes into true bespoke tailoring. I’m amazed at how strict Allan is, both with his own work and mine. It takes a lot of patience to keep seam-ripping and redoing the same section. He can spot a 1/8” size mistake in cutting, sewing, or tailoring. It was a privilege watching someone so skilled work.
Through Allan's guidance, I have developed a newfound appreciation for craftsmanship and precision. His dedication to his craft is not just about making garments but about upholding a standard of excellence that is rarely seen. Every stitch, every seam, and every cut is deliberate, a reflection of years of experience and deep respect for the art of tailoring.
What stood out to me the most was his patience and persistence. No mistake was too small to correct, and no shortcut was acceptable. He instilled in me the importance of discipline, attention to detail, and resilience. The more time I spent under his mentorship, the more I realized that tailoring is not just about sewing; it is a meticulous practice that requires both skill and an unwavering commitment to improvement.
Beyond the technical skills, Allan also taught me the value of perseverance. There were moments of frustration when I had to redo a piece multiple times, but through those experiences, I learned the significance of refining my work until it met the highest standards. That patience and dedication are lessons that extend far beyond tailoring—they are principles I will carry with me in all aspects of life.
Watching Allan work was nothing short of inspiring. His precision, expertise, and relentless pursuit of perfection set a benchmark for excellence that I now strive to achieve. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him, and I know that his influence will continue to shape my journey in sewing and tailoring for years to come.
